Hello there! I'm Effie. I am a one year old puppy girl who is very social. Some call me a social butterfly and I think that fits me perfectly. I love love love people so much! I like to lay in your lap, give you kisses, follow you everywhere, do what you're doing, and just generally be part of the action of the day.<br/><br/>I am still a puppy so I have some learning to do like how to not pull on the leash but I have also mastered some of my lessons like sitting and laying down when asked. I am 61 pounds and the folks taking care of me at Desert Haven think I'm going to gain a few more. We don't know exactly what my size will be fully grown but I'm sure I'll stop sometime. I'm not going to be enormously large but a solid 65-70 pounds sounds just about perfect to me. I like to make an entrance ya know! When we walk into the brewery together we want to turn heads, right? Me with my striking beauty and you with the leash in your hand filled with pride.<br/><br/>Getting back to the pulling thing, I am treat motivated so it should be a snap to finish up my training to help me achieve the level of "Great Manners" all us gorgeous girls strive for. I am well on my way to being the dog who is the envy of everyone in the neighborhood!<br/><br/>Speaking of the other dogs in the hood, I am good not only good with people I'm also good with dogs. I meet people and dogs easily. I give kisses to dogs too! I love to play and romp and enjoy my dog buddies. I also adore the sofa so I will jump up on the sofa to snuggle you. And if sofa snugglin together isn't okay with you then we'll have to have a discussion about it so I can change your mind! Because I am very snuggly there's no doubt about it. Speaking of cuddling, I have been around children and done well too. I just think that whoever has hands for petting and belly rubbin is going to be a friend of mine, any age will do.<br/><br/>Well, I'm about to wrap this up because next I'm either going to nap, have a snack, chew a bone, or play with a dog friend. Then I'll probably snuggle with my caretakers at Desert Haven. I'd rather be wrapped in your arms though. So come to meet me and let's get this snuggle session started!
