Eeyore's Story
Meet Eeyore!

Somehow this adorable Tonka Truck is our longest resident.

Here's what our Dog Day Out volunteers have to say, "Eeyore has the kind of face that puts a smile on yours instantly. As photogenic as he is, he’s even more adorable in person. He didn’t mind the cold and kept a steady pace along the snowy trail, checking in with us often. He’s smart (that big head isn’t just for show!), responsive to voice commands, and he was wonderfully gentle with the little kids who stopped to pet him. He loved the stick we gave him and, of course, really loved the treats. Whenever one of us walked away, he would sit and wait until we were back together instead of continuing on. He’ll be a special, loyal boy to some lucky home!"

He has learned several cues during his time with us, include "sit" and "paw". He's got a loud bark that he isn't afraid to use if he thinks your withholding a well-earned treat.

He is dog-selective, preferring female dogs that love to romp and run. We think he would be too pounce-y to live with cats safely.

His motto is play hard, sleep hard. If you're looking for a short stack guy that can play a fun game of fetch in the back yard, then fill your home with his sonorous snores, Eeyore is definitely your man!

Stop by and meet him today!

Male
Bully breed mix
53 lbs on arrival, now closer to 60 lbs
3 yrs. old (appx.)
--------------
Origin Story:
Unaltered male bully mix seen let out of a vehicle on Brookview Ct. in Hobart on 10-2-25
Wearing only a Flea collar.
No tags.
