Edwin

Edwin is a 7-month-old Labrabull/Schnauzer mix who was found by Shelby County Animal Control along a secluded dirt road in Shelby, Alabama. He was tied to a tree without so much as a bowl of food or water to keep him alive. The rope that held him there was too thick for him to chew through. He was helpless. <br/><br/>Animal control untied Edwin and took him to Shelby Humane, where he was safe for the first time in who knows how long. He was very friendly with the officer who found him, almost as if he knew someone had finally come to help.<br/><br/>Edwin's been at the shelter since February 13, now a full month of living in a kennel. That's a long time for a dog who once stood tied to a tree. <br/><br/>Edwin doesn't make the best impression in the kennel. He jumps around and seems a little frantic. But once he's outside, he settles down, he's affectionate, and he's social with other dogs.
