He loves being talked to, praised, and petted, and he's perfectly content being passed from person to person for snuggles. He knows cues like "outside," "night night," "potty," and "EAT," and will hop to the patio door when he needs to go out (and back to the door when he's ready to come in). He's very inquisitive and enjoys investigating both indoors and outdoors, and he absolutely loves soaking up the sun.<br/><br/>He rides well in the car, is easy to pick up using a gentle "wait, touch, pick up" routine, and is not a barker. Edward gets along well with both men and women. He has not been around small children yet.<br/><br/>Edward has had all of his teeth removed, so he will need soft food or softened kibble for life. He's a great eater and enjoys hand-fed treats like small pieces of boiled chicken or turkey, as well as yogurt, smashed carrots, and pumpkin. While he's not big on drinking water, his meals are well-moistened to keep him hydrated.<br/><br/>Currently shaved from surgery, Edward seems to enjoy wearing a sweater and will happily bed-hop throughout the day before settling in with his blankets at night.<br/><br/>Edward is a gentle, affectionate, and deeply loving companion who will thrive in a home that enjoys close connection, cuddles, and conversation.
