Edison(Best Boy EVER!!) Basset Hound & Rottweiler Mix Beaumont, TX

Hey there, I am Edison. I was rescued from Beaumont Animal Control the day before I was out of time, up for euthanasia. Lucky for me, Pets in Transition had a spot in a foster home for me.

I have blended right in, and my foster mom says I am " the perfect boy" and OH SO HANDSOME. I get along with everyone, even the indoor cats, now if they are outside cats...not so well. I love my crate and am housebroken. I am super obedient. When I am told to get in my kennel, I go right in, I even open the door to my crate often and go in for a nap.

I am approximately 2-3 yrs old. I am neutered, up to date on vaccines and am on monthly heartworm preventative. I was heartworm positive, this is only an issue, if NOTHING IS DONE!!

As for my breed, this is TOTALLY a guess, based on my short little legs and turned-out feet. My weight is 45-50 lbs. I am very unique and good looking.

I like to run and play, but also want to be part of a loving fur-ever home. I am not a jumper, something my foster mom is very happy about.

My adoption fee is $300.00. There is an application process. Our adoption application can be found on www.petsintransition.org. A home visit will also be done.
