Edie here! 🐾<br/><br/>I'm a 5-year-old female American Cocker Spaniel, and I have an important announcement to make...<br/><br/>I'm pretty much the sweetest girl you're ever going to meet! ❤️<br/><br/>Life didn't exactly give me the easiest start, but you'd never know it by meeting me. I'm gentle, loving, friendly and absolutely adore being around people. In fact, everyone in my foster home is completely smitten with me... and honestly, I can't blame them! 😉<br/><br/>Right now, I'm living my best life with my Foster Mom and two cats. The cats and I have come to a very important agreement: I don't bother them, and they don't bother me! 😂 They're a little snotty anyway, so I'm perfectly happy to let them do their own thing.<br/><br/>Now, dogs? THAT'S a different story! 🐶<br/><br/>I absolutely LOVE dogs of all shapes and sizes. If my Foster Mom let me, I'd happily run up to every dog I see and introduce myself. I'm friendly, trusting and always ready to make a new four-legged friend!<br/><br/>And then there are kids... oh, I LOVE kids! 👧🧒❤️<br/><br/>The moment I hear children, I want to go see what they're up to. I'm wonderful with kids of all ages, including the little ones. Somehow, I just seem to know that tiny humans need a little extra gentleness. Instead of jumping all over them, I do my very best to sit close and soak up all the pets and attention.<br/><br/>My Foster Mom says I have such a gentle and loving nature that she thinks I could even make a wonderful therapy dog someday. I just have a way of making everyone I meet feel special. 🥰<br/><br/>She also thinks I would be happiest in a forever home where I have children and at least one other friendly dog to keep me company, play with and learn from.<br/><br/>And don't let all this sweetness fool you -- I've got some skills too! 🎓 I've been working hard on my obedience and I know my Sit, Down, Wait and Come commands. Foster Mom says I'm a pretty good student!<br/><br/>So, let me get this straight...<br/><br/>I'm sweet.<br/>I'm gentle.<br/>I love dogs.<br/>I love kids.<br/>I'm good with cats.<br/>I have some obedience training and I am almost house trained ( 2 weeks no accidents) <br/>And I'm really, really good at giving love. ❤️<br/><br/>So... what are you waiting for?
