She came into rescue after a very rough start to life, but you'd never know it from the loving, easygoing companion she is today. She has now been waiting for her forever family for more than two years.<br/><br/>She is truly an easy dog to live with. Edie is tidy, non-destructive and has wonderful house manners. She loves getting out for walks and adventures and is a total pro at community events and public outings.<br/><br/>Kids are some of her favorite people. Her foster home has three children, and she absolutely adores them. She also lives happily with cats.<br/><br/>When it comes to other dogs, Edie likes her personal space. She has never caused a problem with another dog, but she's uncomfortable when they get too close or in her face. She can enjoy leashed walks and public places where other dogs are around, but she would be happiest as the only dog in her home.<br/><br/>If you're looking for a laid-back BFF who enjoys a good stroll, loves a good cuddle and will happily settle in for movie night, Edie is ready to meet you.
