Eden's Story

Four times she escaped euthanasia.

Now all Eden needs is one person to say, "You're finally home."

Meet Eden, a bright, loving young dog whose journey hasn't been easy.

For nearly a year, Eden bounced in and out of the shelter system, coming heartbreakingly close to losing her life four different times. But her story didn't end there. She found her way to Roxy's Ranch Haven, where she was finally given the chance she always deserved.

Instead of heading straight into a foster home, Eden spent the last several weeks working with a professional trainer to build confidence, learn structure, and discover just how amazing she truly is. And wow... she's blossomed!

Eden is incredibly smart, eager to learn, and loves working with her people.

She already knows:
1. Loose leash walking
2. Sit
3. Leash engagement
4. Beginning recall
And so much more!

She's also crate trained and house trained, making her an easy companion when given a consistent routine. Like any young pup, she still has plenty of playful energy and absolutely loves people and other dogs. Her only request? A home without cats or pet birds, since they're just a little too exciting for her.

Eden would thrive with someone who enjoys training and is excited to continue her journey through group and individual sessions with the trainers who already know and love her in Sebastopol. Every lesson builds her confidence, and every day she becomes an even more incredible companion.

After everything she's been through, Eden isn't looking for perfection. She's looking for someone who believes she's worth the time, the love, and the promise of forever.

Could that be you?

Roxy's Ranch Haven's Adoption Policy
Our rescued animals are looking for loving, responsible forever homes. Rescue dogs are pulled from overcrowded shelters where they have been listed for euthanasia due to space. To ensure they find the best match, here’s how our adoption process works: 1. Select a Pet Browse through our available animals and click on the one you’re interested in inquiring about. You may visit https://roxysranchhaven.org/for-adoption/ to do this as well. If you are unsure which animal is the best fit for you, but would like to adopt, please continue with Step 2. 2. Complete the Adoption Application Fill out the form completely, including all details that will help us ensure a good match between you and the animal. 3. Phone Screening Once your application is submitted, a member of our team will contact you for a phone screening to go over your information and confirm if the pet is a good fit. 4. Schedule a Farm Visit If approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to visit Roxy’s Ranch Haven to meet the animal in person. This will be confirmed by email or during your call. 5. Adoption Fee & Paperwork After your visit, you’ll receive an email with instructions for submitting the $350 adoption fee (which supports the farm) along with the post-adoption form and official paperwork, including shelter notes and medical records. 6. Meet your future pet During your visit, you’ll spend time with the pet you’re interested in and get to know them better. 7. Submit Final Paperwork Once all required forms and paperwork are returned, your adoption is nearly complete! 8. Adoption Certificate Issued You’ll receive your official Adoption Approval Certificate, signed by the Executive Director of Roxy’s Ranch Haven.
