Eden's Story
Meet Eden!

Eden is your classic super mutt special. Just hitting that sweet & slightly sassy teenage dog phase where everything in life is brand new and a little bit thrilling. She grew up in a shelter environment, so she missed out on learning some of the finer things that dogs normally pick up in a home. That means she’s doing a bit of “world school” now and honestly? She’s doing amazing, during her stay at Charlotte's Behavior Corner!

What Eden needs most?
A family willing to follow the 3-3-3 decompression philosophy and give her gentle structure while she learns how to be a dog in a real home.
When she feels safe, she doesn’t just warm up - she blooms.

Social Skills & Quirks

Great with dogs of all sizes. She watches them like a polite little lady and follows their lead.

Cat-approved. She doesn’t chase and casually pretends they don’t exist.

Chickens? Hard pass. Clearly feathered dinosaurs and she wants no part of that nonsense.

People? Once she decides you’re safe, she hands out hugs like she’s Oprah. Everyone gets one.

Training & Confidence

Kennel trained and sleeps quietly once settled.

House training in progress. She’s thoughtful and clean, just still learning that outside = potty zone.

Leash work: learning confidence and doing great when not rushed - follow, pause, think, then go.

May or may not believe she’s part goat.... cat trees, chairs, and awkward perches? All fair game.

Shows strong problem-solving and resilience - she prefers to figure things out rather than be pushed.

Personality Vibes:

She’s the soft-hearted teen girl who will cuddle on the couch, binge-watch TV with you, then tuck herself under your arm like she’s always belonged there. She doesn’t come in hot, she chooses you slowly… and then with everything she has.

What she's looking for…

A home that:

•Understands decompression and doesn’t rush trust.

•Enjoys watching shy dogs discover joy and become total heart dogs.

•Wants a pup sweeter than the girl next door, with just enough sass to keep you laughing.

If that sounds like you, apply to meet Eden. She’s ready to give her heart to someone patient, kind, and ready for a gentle love story.

https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/TGLR/Dog
