I’m a senior boy with a big heart and a touch of anxiety. In loud, busy environments, I sometimes struggle. But with quiet, space, and fresh air? I transform. I don’t need perfection, just someone who will meet me where I am and walk forward with me, slowly and kindly. Could that be you?

HISTORY: Originally from Selma, Alabama

ENERGY LEVEL: Low

EXPERIENCE WITH:
Kids: Lived with/not good with
Dogs: Lived with/good with
Cats: Lived with/good with

IDEAL HOME:
A calm, quiet home with no kids, ideally outside the city as it tends to overwhelm him. Eddie would also love another dog or cat in the home—he loves a furry friend!

FOSTER FEEDBACK:
“Eddie is a sweet cuddly baby. He reacts to his name and listens very well. And he’s eager to please. He’s just a love bug and loves to be touching me at all times.”

MEDICAL:
We do our best to ensure the dogs in our care are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed or neutered (when old enough), microchipped, and given a general health check. Immediate medical needs and medical history will be addressed with the adopter prior to adoption. Complete vet records will be sent shortly after adoption.

FOSTER TO ADOPT: This dog is eligible for our limited foster-to-adopt program, which gives approved adopters the chance to welcome a dog into their home and get to know them before finalizing an adoption. The foster-to-adopt period typically lasts 2–4 weeks and follows our standard foster guidelines. Interested adopters should submit an adoption application noting their interest in the program and the specific dog—they can connect with the adoptions team for more details.
