Eddie

Eddie is a 3-year-old boy that is looking for a furever home. He is a Chihuahua and maybe mixed with some dachshund, but maybe not, but that makes no difference, he still needs a home. He loves people and loves to be near people. He loves to play with his ball, and he loves chewing on his chew toys. He is a very smart and active guy. He gets along with the other dogs in the home but could be an only dog as well. He does fine around cats. He sleeps in the bed with his fosters and sleeps through the night. He willingly potties outside 100% of the time which says a lot in this arctic wintry weather we have been having. He is just a little guy at 8 pounds. If you think he might fit right into your home, let us know and we will connect you with his foster to meet him. <br/><br/>All our dogs are current on vaccinations which include Rabies, Distemper/Parvo and Bordetella. They are spayed and or neutered, have been fecal tested and heartworm tested, and had a dental cleaning if necessary. They are all on heartworm and flea/tick preventative as needed in rescue. They all will have a microchip that will be registered in the adopter's name and is good for a lifetime with no additional fees. <br/><br/>The adoption process is an application, a vet reference, a home inspection, and a lifetime contract. The requested adoption donation for all our dogs is $400.<br/><br/>We do not REQUIRE a fenced in yard (some dogs do not require a fence, if they can walk well on harness and leash. This is decided by what is best for each dog individually.) <br/><br/>We are willing to adopt to out-of-state applicants, but you must travel to the foster home location of your dog which is in Omaha or within a 90-minute drive from the Omaha area to meet and travel home with your dog.
