Eddie's Story
AN INQUIRY FROM PETFINDER IS NOT AN APPLICATION! READ THE ENTIRE POST FOR INFORMATION HOW TO APPLY.

Meet Eddie! Eddie is a 6 month old male labradoodle puppy and he weighs about 20 pounds. We expect him to stay under 50 pounds when full grown, but due to his unique mix, we are unable to accurately predict his actual adult weight range, so if you need a pup to stay a specific size, he is not the pup for you. Eddie arrived in rescue after his previous family simply was not up for all things puppy. He has been in loving foster home and are thriving. A forever family will need to be up for all things puppy - including house training, leash training, learning what is ok to chew and not chew, as well as continued socialization. He is very sweet, but very energetic. He would do well with furfriends of similar energy levels, senior pups will be highly annoyed. He would also do well with dog savvy kiddos. An active home is a must - he has lots of energy!! His foster mom says: Eddie is a joyful, high-spirited boy who approaches life with pure exuberance. Everything is exciting to him—from playtime to walks to being around his people. His happiness is contagious! Eddie is a bouncy guy who can leap over other dogs or furniture when he’s extra excited, so an active home that enjoys a lively companion would be a great fit. He’s still working on his leash manners since the outside world is such an exciting place, but he’s eager to learn. He’s doing well with other dogs and is making good progress with house habits, using piddle pads when he isn’t able to go outside. Eddie would thrive with someone who appreciates a fun, energetic dog and is ready to help him channel his enthusiasm into good manners and adventures. In return, you’ll get endless joy, laughs, and love.

Eddie is neutered, up to date on vaccines, on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped.

Eddie is fostered in the Orlando area and his adoption donation is $550. if you are interested in applying to adopt Eddie, please visit www.floridalittledogrescue.com to read the adoption process and complete an application! Please note that emails simply asking "Is this dog available" will not be returned, as applications are worked in the order received and availability largely depends on when you apply:) Please also know we do not adopt out of state! Thank you!
