Eddie

Eddie is a 2-year-old doodle/shepherd mix with a goofy demeanor and a heart of gold. He's very food-motivated and easy to train. He responds very well to commands (most especially with a treat!) He's a lovely boy whose favorite activity is running up and down the driveway while his people put out the trash and check the mail. (ps… with a leash on of course!)<br/><br/>He is fully crate trained and enjoys bedding down overnight in his crate. He’s also great when he has to stay in for up to 8 hours when Mom and Dad are away from the house for work. <br/><br/>Eddie definitely has that lab/doodle energy level and really enjoys a nice long walk twice a day. He looks forward to his walks and of course they are a great way for him to expend his mental energy and physical energy. He is great in a fenced yard as well and of course his most favorite time is when he is playing with his hooomans!<br/><br/>Eddie inherited his low-shedding, hypoallergenic coat from his poodle ancestors! He does need regular grooming,and can get a little anxious around grooming tools. He's been working on it and getting better every time.<br/><br/>He is precocious and clumsy, and can sometimes be a bull in a china shop, which of course is part of his goofy charm.. His crate is always helpful when he needs a time out from his rambunctiousness. <br/><br/>Eddie will only be considered in homes without cats. <br/>He is dog social and of course in a new home would need structure and time in order to fully integrate with a new pack or sibling. He would probably love being an only dog so he can soak up all of the hoooman energy for himself!
