Eddie's Story

Dear Future Family – Hi! It’s Eddie, the 4-year-old black male that you’ve been waiting for. Let’s get acquainted: I came into my foster home without much of a background and after being treated for heartworm, but that hasn’t stopped my tail from wagging. I’ve really opened up since I got here, enjoying my foster sister’s toys and even getting my foster sister (who, let’s be honest, is a bit grumpy) to play with me. I am completely potty-trained and will even go into my crate while my foster parents go to work. I’ve trained them well – they make sure to give me a treat before I go in! Because of my heartworm treatment, I’ve been relaxing a lot. But I’m looking forward to the day where I can really run around and get some exercise. I don’t want to brag, but my foster mom says that I am pretty amazing: I love to play but I’m also okay with a lazy day on the dog bed, I’ve been gentle to everyone I’ve met and am not food or toy aggressive in any way. For these reasons, my foster parents think that I would be great with children and other furry companions. So what are you waiting for? Come meet me today!
