Echo's Story
– Adopt Echo! –

Echo is just the sweetest boy and has truly been thriving in his foster home. He’s ready to take the next step and find his forever family!

He’s incredibly smart and eager to learn. He does wonderfully with his foster dog sibling and would be happy either with a dog companion or as your one-and-only. Echo has been working to build life skills and channel his natural curiosity (especially when it comes to squirrels!).

Echo doesn’t know a stranger, he loves everyone he meets and greets the world with a happy, friendly attitude.

Echo’s affectionate nature makes us think he’d do well with kids. He’s curious, gentle, and happiest when he’s close to his person. He has fun, bouncy energy but a very soft approach, and he’s famous for giving the sweetest little kisses especially in the morning (and honestly all day).

Because he has a strong interest in small critters, Echo would do best in a cat-free home. A securely fenced yard is important for his safety. He doesn’t jump fences, but he is talented at finding gaps.

He prefers cuddles over treats and loves playing with toys. Echo is very people-oriented and would happily curl up in your lap if invited.
Echo already knows how to sit, comes when called, is crate trained, and is potty trained. When he arrived in rescue he was underweight, but with good food and care he’s been steadily gaining and doing great.

On leash, Echo is still polishing his skills. He can get a bit enthusiastic when other dogs pass by, but with consistency and guidance he continues to make nice progress. He loves meeting new people and makes for a wonderful companion
Echo is a special dog with a big heart. He’s ready to form a deep bond with his family and be a loyal, loving best friend.

📍 Fostered in Portland, OR
📝 Apply to adopt at 4allmuttkind.org/adopt
