Echo is a kind soft hearted guy who loves his humans so hard and just wants the same love in return. He’s a sensitive softie type of guy, who is wicked smart! Very trainable and food motivated. He knows “sit”, “stay”, “place”, getting his “down” more solid every day and has a great recall. When he first came he was very frightened by being led on a leash, but is growing confidence in leash walking daily with positive affirmations from his person. He loves being told he’s a good boy! He is a playful guy and would do best with a dog that’s as fun loving and playful as he is, ideally a dog of his size! Although his best buddy with his foster is 30lbs and usually gets the upper hand in wrestling matches! <br/><br/>Echo really enjoys cuddling on the couch, laying at your feet on the patio, playing fetch and keeping a close eye on you while you doing work. He just wants to be a person’s shadow. He’s crate trained and potty trained. He’s trustworthy left loose in the home and sleeps at night in a dog bed on the floor, although he’d also love taking up space at the foot of the bed if you wanted. He eats well with others, good with dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, cattle and LOVES kids. Although he’s a great passenger, he is still worried about getting dumped off somewhere when you want him to load up. We assume this will go away with time in a solid home. He requires a privacy 6ft fence, as he can easily soar over a 4ft fence. He, however, only goes as far as the front door to be let back in, he just wants to be with his people!
