Echo's Story
- Adopt Echo! -

Echo is just the sweetest boy and has been thriving in his foster home, but now he’s ready to find his forever!

Echo has been in training with @synergyveterinarybehavior to work on his squirrel chasing and life skills and he is as smart as a whip! He does very with will his foster dog sibling and would do great with a dog companion or all on his own.

Echo doesn’t know a stranger! He loves everyone he meets and is a friendly happy guy.

Due to his prey drive, he would do best in a cat free home. Echo is a master escape artist so secure fencing is a must. He doesn’t jump fences but he finds the smallest of cracks and can squeeze through (including windows!).

His affectionate nature makes us think he’d do well with kids. Echo is very curious and loves to be by his person. He has a lot of fun energy but a light touch. He loves to give the sweetest little kisses in the morning - and the rest of the day too.

He loves physical affection more than treats and playing with his toys is his favorite thing when he’s not keeping an eye on things outside the window.

He’s the kind of dog who always wants to be close. If you’ll let him, he’d happily curl up in your lap. He already knows how to sit, comes when called, and is potty trained.

When he first came to us, Echo was underweight and malnourished. He’s been steadily gaining with good food and care. He isn’t overly food motivated, but he loves a good game of fetch and chew toys.

On leash, Echo is still learning. He can get excited when other dogs pass by, but with guidance and consistency he’s making good progress. He loves meeting new people and will make a wonderful companion for walks, hikes, or just hanging out at home.

Echo is a special dog with so much love to give. He’s ready to bond deeply with his own family and will make a loyal, devoted friend.

Fostered in Portland, OR
Apply to adopt at 4allmuttkind.org/adopt
