Meet Echo<br/><br/>Echo’s story started with heartbreak—he was found as a puppy, lost and confused, lying in a gutter. A caring foster reached out for help, and we jumped into action to get him safe.<br/><br/>He was adopted quickly, but a few months later he was returned when his family discovered he is deaf. Combined with his happy puppy energy, it was more than they felt prepared for. But here’s the beautiful part of Echo’s story...<br/><br/>Echo has since graduated from our PAWs to Prison training program, where he’s been working hard and showing just how smart and capable he truly is.<br/><br/>Here’s what his trainer says about him:<br/><br/>A big, sweet, lovable goofball<br/><br/>Full of enthusiasm and zest for life<br/><br/>Best suited for a confident dog companion who can gently “check” his excitement<br/><br/>Eager to learn and bond with his person<br/><br/>Because Echo is deaf, he communicates through touch and visual cues.
