This gorgeous husky with the different colored eyes is Echo. She is between 1-2 years of age and came to the Franklin Township Animal Shelter as an unclaimed stray. Echo is a happy and playful dog who is full of energy. She would benefit from more training in walking without pulling on the leash, but she is a smart girl who has the potential to learn quickly. Echo enjoys the company of people, but needs to be the one and only pet in her forever home. She’d love a home with a fenced-in yard where she can run to her heart’s content. An adult-only home or one with older children would be best suited for Echo. If interested in meeting her, you are welcome to come to the shelter Tuesday-Friday 12-3 or Saturdays 12-6.

Franklin Township Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy
Adoption fee for dogs, cats, kittens, and rabbits is $80 per animal. Cats, dogs, rabbits and kittens are spayed/neutered. Cats, dogs, and kittens are microchipped, and up-to-date on all age-appropriate shots prior to adoption. Cats have also been tested for feline leukemia and FIV and dogs have been tested for heartworm. An adoption application may be found at the link below. Applications can be faxed to the Animal Shelter at 732-873-8902 or e-mailed to Brian.Hartman@FranklinNJ.Gov. Applications may also be dropped off in person during our open hours Tuesday-Friday 12pm-3pm Saturday 12-6pm.
