Echo's Story
Meet Echo!

Echo is a high-drive, high-energy Belgian Malinois with a big personality, an even bigger heart, and an unwavering devotion to his people.

Echo is looking for an experienced Malinois home ONLY. He is everything you'd expect from the breed: intelligent, athletic, intense, and happiest when he has a job to do. He thrives on structure, training, and physical and mental stimulation.

While Echo is not naturally social with strangers or unfamiliar dogs, he forms incredibly deep bonds with the people he knows and trusts. Once you're in his circle, you're IN. He's fiercely devoted, affectionate, and more than happy to trade his working-dog intensity for some serious snuggling.

Echo can coexist well with other dogs when introductions are handled properly, and, perhaps surprisingly, he's also good with cats!

Echo's résumé is pretty impressive:

Fully house trained

Crate trained

Muzzle trained

Off-leash e-collar trained

Can do well with other dogs following proper introductions

Good with cats

Highly motivated by training, play, and engagement

A few of Echo's favorite things:

Playing and training (preferably with his favorite humans)

Cats!

Vegetables (yes, really)

Bathtime

Snuggling after a busy day

Echo's ideal home:

Echo needs an experienced Belgian Malinois owner who understands the breed's drive, intensity, and need for structure. He is not a dog for a first-time owner or someone looking for a casual companion.

He is not suited for apartment living and needs a home where his physical and mental needs can be consistently met. His adopter must also understand that Echo is not a social butterfly. He needs someone comfortable managing his interactions with unfamiliar people and dogs, respecting his boundaries, and continuing his training.

Echo isn't the dog for everyone, and that's okay. For the right person, someone who genuinely understands and appreciates what makes a Malinois a Malinois, Echo has the potential to be an incredibly rewarding companion.

He's not looking to be everyone's best friend. He's looking for his person. And when Echo loves you, he loves you with everything he's got.
