Easter's Story

🐶 Easter
Easter did relatively well throughout most of her assessment. She is a strong, energetic dog who can pull hard on the leash and may jump up intensely when excited, which could be overwhelming for small children.
She appeared friendly with people and enjoys interaction, but at this time she does not appear fully comfortable around other dogs and would do best as the only pet in the home.
💙 With continued structure, training, and regular activity, Easter may be a good candidate for adoption.

Anyone interested in fostering or adopting a dog from The Trenton Animal Shelter must complete an application. All applications for foster or adoption will be screened for suitability and must include personal and veterinarian references. Once approved, a representative from the shelter will contact the applicant and set up a meeting with the animal. All other animals in the household and family members must participate in a “meet and greet” with the desired animal in order to confirm suitability. Adoptions are finalized with a contract releasing the animal to the adopter(s).
