Earl's Story
Big Earl strollin' through!

My life has changed a lot over these past few months. I was first spotted as a stray back in March, wandering around Edison on my own for several weeks. I then ventured into South Plainfield where a dedicated team of local rescuers began tracking me. On the morning of April 16th I was finally picked up and brought here to the shelter. When the staff posted me on the lost and found page, my former owner reached out giving information on me (including my old name which I responded to) and claimed they wanted me back. Despite multiple attempts to reunite me with my former family, contact was cut after one of my owners claimed they "shouldn't be talking to" the staff.

Although I am not well suited for a home with other animals, I am a dignified, loyal, and smart companion who would love to be by your side. I absolutely love playing fetch with my tennis balls and will bring them back to you while patiently waiting for you to throw them again. Not only am I fully housetrained I am also a very clean boy who doesn't destroy toys or beds, keeping your home nice and tidy. I will be your right hand companion, ready to share my love and affection with you. Ideally my new family will have breed experience as I am a strong boy who is a "true Shepherd" according to mom. Not sure what that baloney means but I think it's another way of calling me perfect :D

If you're searching for your new best friend, look no further than me! I am ready to find my FUREVER home where I will be safe, warm, and loved for the rest of my life.
