Dynamite Labrador Retriever & Hound Mix Port Washington, NY

Dynamite came up from Georgia through The Shelter Connection's rescue program. He came from a home that let the breeding on the property get out of control. Luckily, he is very social and friendly, but came knowing no commands or how to walk on a leash. He has made some great progress in a short amount of time! True to his name, Dynamite is a very energetic, smart guy that is looking for an active family dedicated to continuing his training. He loves to hold a soft toy in his mouth in true retriever fashion! Dynamite gets along well with other dogs- a meeting with dogs in the home at the shelter is always required. We are unsure about his behavior with cats. Due to his exuberance, we are recommending a home with children 10+.
