The Last Resort's Adoption Policy
In order to adopt one of our animals, an application must first be submitted. We will then check personal references, vet references, have a personal interview and then conduct a home visit. Once approved, you will then be able to meet our available pets. After the adoption takes place, you will have a two week trial period to make sure they are a match for you and your family. Our adoption fee is $350 for dogs and $400 for puppies. ALL animals will be spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, heartworm tested and be current on flea and heartworm prevention. PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE A FOSTER BASED RESCUE, NOT A SHELTER, THEREFORE WE DO NOT HAVE REGULAR HOURS. DOGS ARE ONLY AVAILABLE TO MEET AFTER YOUR APPLICATION HAS BEEN SUBMITTED, SCREENED AND APPROVED.
