Dutton's Story

Dutton is an adult male, brown and black shepherd mix. Born in late 2021, he and his siblings were dumped on a country road. Scared and skinny, they were brought to the shelter in April of 2022 when they were 6 months old. Dutton is sweet, sometimes shy, but very smart. He is quick to learn new things, potty trained with a pet door, walks well on a leash and knows how to sit. Dutton loves toys and is often found carrying them around. He gets along great with other dogs and is friendly with all people. Dutton has spent his whole life either trying to survive on his own or living in the shelter. He needs a forever home that will be understanding of his past, has a fenced back yard and the unconditional love that this guy deserves.

All HSGC pets come with their medical file that shows they have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested, and current on heartworm/flea and tick prevention. Visit our website at hsgconline.org to fill out our application and see all of our pets available for adoption.
