Dutchess's Story

Dutchess came in as a stray, female, just over a year old. She is easy to leash and ready to go on an adventure at all times. She has a tendency to pull fairly hard in whatever direction she feels like going while walking. She is a young dog who shows no signs of prior training. She will need an adopter dedicated to helping her be the best she can be. She has a great personality and is very high-energy. She will do best in an active home, with a younger couple or family with older children. She will need a large, secure yard and/or plenty of walks and exercise. She met another large breed dog and was interested in play. She would approach several times and then regularly disengage and continue doing her own thing.
