Dutchess's Story

Dutchess
Female, spayed
Breed: Mixed
DOB: 1/20/25
Weight: 51 lbs

Are you looking for a playful, affectionate dog with lots of puppy energy? Dutchess might be the perfect fit. She is a huge lover who thrives on attention and enjoys games like tug of war and fetch. She has high energy and will do best in a home that can provide plenty of daily exercise and enrichment.
Dutchess came from West Virginia where she was found as a stray. She does well with kids and is dog selective, preferring the company of small to medium dogs over large dogs. She is not cat friendly and has a prey drive, so a home without cats or small animals is required.
She is very intelligent, eager to please, and already knows sit and come when called. She enjoys chew toys, but squeaky toys are her favorite. She walks nicely on a leash without pulling, but she is shy about using the bathroom while on leash. Because of this, she will need either a fenced yard or a tie out to feel comfortable during potty time. She is still learning a consistent potty routine and is adjusting well to the snow.
Dutchess is quiet in her crate overnight and loves car rides. She has a sweet personality, a playful spirit, and all the fun energy that comes with being a young dog.
If you are interested in meeting Dutchess and are pre approved, please message our Facebook page.
