He was rescued after being abandoned at a hotel and left behind in a crate—but you’d never guess it from the dog he is today. Since coming to the rescue, Dutch has shown us nothing but love, sweetness, and an incredible zest for life.<br/><br/>Dutch is an active, happy guy who lives to run. He regularly goes on runs with our volunteers and absolutely thrives with exercise and adventure. An active family or individual who enjoys staying on the move would be his perfect match.<br/><br/>A few things to know about Dutch:<br/>•No cats<br/>•We’re unsure how he’d do with children, so we’re recommending a no-kids home<br/>•He has been walked alongside other dogs and has shown interest without aggression<br/>– slow introductions are a must<br/>– multiple meet-and-greets will be required for homes with another dog<br/>•High-energy and athletic — he needs daily exercise and mental stimulation<br/><br/>Dutch is loyal, affectionate, and ready to spread his wings with the right family.
