ENERGETIC AND PLAYFUL - MUST HAVE YOUNG ENERGETIC DOG PLAYMATE AND ACTIVE HOME. WILL NEED CONTINUED OBEDIENCE TRAINING.

Dusty is my name and ‘Keep Away’ is my favorite game! I’m a very joyous boy. I am a 2 year old champagne colored Poodle/Lhasa Apso mix and I weigh about 17 pounds. I am very sweet; I like all dogs, people and kitties (I’m curious about them but they kinda scare me; I don’t chase them either – so far). I’m not a big barker but I will sometimes moan at the kitty trying to get it to notice me. I am playful and have a lot of energy. I am learning some commands like sit, stay and ‘high five’ (you can see that in one of my photos). I’m pretty energetic so sometimes I want to give you a ‘high ten’ and start dancing instead of sitting down, but I’m trying. ; I also dance and roll over. Gotta love me! I love riding in the car and going for walks – I still pull on my leash so I might need a Halti collar. I LOVE to have lots of toys so that I can carry them around with me – I’m like a 2-year old because I like all my toys out and spread out on the floor. You can throw them for me too! I dash to pick them up and bring them back to you, but then I like to tease you with it – you can only get so close! HeeHee. I am very smart and I know exactly what I’m doing, too. I am housebroken, I love to go in and out of my dog door to play and to potty and I am crate trained. I also love for my person to cuddle me and pet me – I like to chew on pizzles or pork rolls while I wind down for the evening before bed.

Adopter for this dog must reside in the immediate Houston/Galveston area and be at least 25 years old. A home visit may be required prior to this dog going to any home.

Adoption fee for this dog is $175.

Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Clear Lake Petco, 2410 Bay Area Boulevard. All dogs are microchipped, on heartworm protection, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed and treated for fleas. Since all of our dogs are in foster homes, an individual dog may not be at our weekly Adoption Event due to conflict with a foster's schedule. If you are interested in meeting a particular dog, please send an email to pets2adopt@yahoo.com so that the Dog Coordinator can let you know if the dog will be at the Saturday Adoption Event at Petco.
