He's fully house trained (truly perfect in the house), walks nicely on leash, isn't destructive, loves couch naps and is happiest simply being near his people. Whether you work from home, enjoy quiet evenings, or just want a loyal companion beside you, Dusty fits right in.<br/><br/>Dusty is arthritic, so he's not an active dog, but he still has playful moments and absolutely enjoys life. He gets along with people beautifully and has accepted indoor cats per shelter records.<br/><br/>He does well with other dogs with proper introductions and a good match. He seems to prefer pups smaller than himself. He can have some resource guarding tendencies, so supervision and thoughtful management are important, but he has been very manageable in foster care.<br/><br/>Dusty doesn't need perfection. He just needs someone willing to give a senior dog a chance. <br/><br/>A soft bed. A steady routine. A home where he can finally exhale. This is all included in their adoption fee that goes in as a donation to help us cover their medical costs and continue to help other animals in need.
