Dune's Story

Dune is a 3 year old/60lbs pure breed German Shepherd. He is a goofy and friendly boy who loves people and does very well around other dogs including small dogs AND cats!!

He is polite and plays a little bit but not a rough type player, more mingle kind of guy!

He would do great with somebody who enjoys hiking or nature walks because he loves being out on adventures! He also does well running with his foster mom.
He is of medium energy of a working breed so does not have a high energy level which is nice, however needs somebody that will provide exercise suitable for the breed. He can be nervous/stressed in certain situations so needs a person that does not mind that and has patience.

Dune MUST have a house with a yard because he was fostered in an apartment for several months but we learned quickly he does get nervous if there is a lot of apartment noise from upstairs neighbors and he did not really get used to it.
He moved to a house with yard with multiple other dogs and did very well in that set up.

Dune is already neutered, up to date on shots, microchipped and just had a teeth cleaning. He is crate trained and house trainde.
He is ready to find a great home!

To inquire, and/or set up a meeting with Dune, start by filling out application (copy and paste link): https://bluemandog.org/adoption-application/

We adopt our dogs in the greater LA area and nearby cities.
