Duke-LAP DOG! Loves to hangout and chill's Story
Meet Duke – a 70-pound lap dog!

This goofy, lovable sweetheart thinks the best place to be is right next to his people (or directly on them).

Duke is affectionate, loyal, and happiest when he’s included in whatever is going on. Movie night? Duke’s there. Folding laundry? Duke supervises. Sitting on the couch? Prepare for a very large cuddle bug.

• Calm sweetheart who mostly enjoys just laying around
• LOVES BELLY RUBS
• Extremely smart and listens/follows direction well
• Love love loves car rides
• Fully housetrained
• Likes to sleep on the bed with his humans, but has learned to sleep in his assigned spot so everyone gets a good night’s sleep
• Has gone through formal training and assessed that with additional exposure & repetition could be good with other dogs. He shows no signs of aggression, but was likely under socialized as a puppy and hasn’t yet learned appropriate dog play. Would be best to start as an only dog.
• Recommended for families with teens+
• 3 years old, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped

Duke can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once you’re in the “Duke Club,” you’re a friend for life. Because of this, he’d do best in a quieter home without lots of strangers coming and going. The good news? OAHS staff will happily show adopters how to do slow introductions so Duke can keep expanding his fan club.

If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick, a professional snuggler, and a very enthusiastic member of your household activities committee, Duke is ready to join your club.

🐾 PLEASE SHARE DUKE to help us find him a loving home! 🐾

To meet this handsome doof, please complete a dog adoption application on our website, or contact our dog team at dog@oahs.org or 920-424-2128 ext.108 for more info!
