He was rescued from a sidewalk on Skid row where he was starving and chained. His Donor can no longer keep him safe so he must find a new place to go.<br/> <br/>Duke consistently displays non-aggressive behavior but can be selective with his canine companions. He is independent but enjoys affection and especially treats, which show his training and good manners. <br/><br/>Duke's favorite activity is walking, he does require a confident handler, especially in environments unfamiliar to him. He's not the best traveler in the car but is OK with trips to the park or other destinations. <br/> <br/>Duke is friendly with everyone, especially humans, making him an ideal companion. If you are interested in adopting an Adopt Me Rescue dog, please visit our website and fill out our adoption application www.adoptmerescue.org.  We review each application and pick the most suitable situation for each dog. WE DO REQUIRE A HOME-CHECK and you must be at least 21 years of age to adopt a dog from our organization. All our dogs are Vet-checked, neutered/spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped prior to adoption. There is an adoption fee and e-mail us with the dogs name and we can tell you how much their adoption fee is. Remember we are a non profit and all adoption fees are tax deductible.
