Duke's Story

Meet Duke! He is about 7 yrs old and 51lbs. We believe he is a hound mix. He was adopted from a S IL shelter about 2 yrs ago and just returned to that shelter. Well...not returned but more like not picked up by the owners. Apparently Duke had a habit of sitting at the end of the driveway waiting for his human Mom to come home. People would stop and pick him up, thinking he was lost. After a few too many times, his human Dad no longer was entertained by this and said they wont be picking him up. Leaving Duke homeless.
