Duke's Story

Meet Duke! He’s a 9-month-old, 46 lb loveable bundle of joy! We’re unsure of his breed but a mixed breed of maybe mountain cur. Duke is crate-trained, house-trained and up to date on vetting including vaccines, fecal and micro-chipped as well as neutered. He is a friendly guy but will bark at new people until he gets to know them. Thankfully he loves treats so he warms up to new people quickly! He came to us as an 8-week-old puppy with parvo, but you’d never know that now. Currently he’s in a house with 4 other dogs and has the time of his life. He loves chasing and playing with them. Duke also lives with 2 small children and likes to chew wooden toy pieces. That’s still a work in progress, hence all the bones in the house! He loves his squeaky toys! He rides in a crate in the car and is good at jumping in and out. While Duke is an active boy, he will settle in the evening after a fun day of playing. If you’re an active family looking for your next family member, then Duke is your boy! He’s being fostered in Wilmington, IL.
Adoption fee $275.00 partially sponsored
Apply at www.allherdingbreeddogrescue.com
Follow us on #herdingdogrescueil
