Duke's Story

Duke is a one year old, 62 pound Coonhound/Doodle mix. He was adopted as a three month old puppy. When his owner discovered she was allergic to him, he was stuck in the back yard where he did not receive the care that he needed. Duke is now heartworm positive and has started on slow kill treatment. He was moved to the home of a family member who is unable to care for Duke. He is good with other dogs and kids. He is a GREAT dog. He is just too much puppy for the elderly family that has him. <br/>He needs a forever home.
