Meet Duke! Are you looking for a low key guy that can be your best friend? This handsome dude is ready for a new home. He ignores cats, lived with another small dog but big dogs make him nervous. Duke is approx 5 yrs old and weighs 16 lbs. He has been neutered, heartworm tested, vaccinated, dewormed and on preventatives. His 2026 Ohio license is also included with his adoption. Brown County Humane Society's Adoption Policy

There is an initial adoption application. Applications can be found at www.bchsohio.org. Our contact info is on the application form. Selected applicants will be contacted for meetings. All animals are vaccinated, including rabies vacc, and spayed/neutered prior to going home with the adopters. BCHS does not adopt on a first come, first served basis but rather on the best fit for the animal and the person/family.
