Duke's Story

Duke loves the retired life: naps, snacks, and fussing at the young 'uns. His favorite place to be is outside, no matter what the weather is. Duke has been known to nap on the patio during a storm and be completely unbothered.

Duke has lived with a variety of foster siblings. He prefers laid back and quiet friends but every now and again wants to get involved in some zoomie fun. As long as the siblings respect his bubble space, he is good to go.

Duke is kennel trained and mostly housetrained but wears a belly band to prevent accidents. He can get a bit overwhelmed in new settlings but calming words and cheese help him recover quickly.

It has taken some time for Duke to settle in to his current foster home but has been and absolute goofball and delight once he felt at home.

Duke would do best in a home without children, a fenced in backyard, a refrigerator full of cheese, and a laid back dog friend.
