The Michael Movement Rescue is committed to placing animals in safe, loving, lifelong homes. Prospective adopters must complete an adoption application and may be subject to reference checks, veterinary history verification, landlord approval, and meet-and-greets with resident pets. We strive to make the best match possible by being transparent about each animal's medical, behavioral, and training needs. Our goal is to create successful, lasting placements. All adopted animals must be returned to The Michael Movement Rescue if the adopter can no longer care for them. Animals may not be sold, transferred, or surrendered to another person or organization without rescue approval. Adult dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption whenever possible. Puppies adopted before sterilization are placed with a spay/neuter agreement requiring proof of completion by a specified age.
