Meet Duke
Duke is a very playful, loving, and energetic lab/boxer mix living with Lisa in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. She must rehome Duke. Contact info for Lisa is 575-740-2899.
Duke is shy at first when he meets people but once the initial shyness is over, Duke is affectionate and snuggly. His shyness only lasts a few minutes then he is a total love. He is full of happiness and shares it freely once he gets over his initial shyness.
Duke is good with dogs and kids but shouldn't live with cats. Duke also shouldn't live where he has access to small farm animals.
Lisa believes that Duke is up to date on shots but check with her when you call. Duke is not neutered. Duke's adopter can call the Sierra County Humane Society at 575-894-1694 for financial assistance getting him neutered.
Duke lived inside with his family for his first 8 months of life but for the past year Duke has lived outside with other dogs. He will need a refresher on house-training skills. Duke has gotten into a scuffle when food was involved so having him eat without another dog around will be helpful.
Duke is a great dog who needs a new family. Contact Lisa at 575-740-2899 to discuss adopting Duke.
