Duke's Story

Duke is around 1.5 years old and 92# (still needs some weight).<br/>He needs a home with someone who has lots of German Shepherd experience. He needs work on obedience, he can be mouthy when he's excited. He needs someone who will work with him consistently and keep his energy at bay. When forced into restraint or something he doesn't like his go to is barking and being mouthy, which can be very unpleasant with a dog his size. He does ride well in a car and walks decent on a leash. He can easily climb a 5 ft fence. He stands over 6ft tall on his hind legs. He has a high prey drive with squirrels and cats and can be dog selective. He went for a dog day out at Depauw's Campus and did great meeting everyone without any issues. Due to his size, we would recommend a home without young children.
