Dudley's Story
Meet Dudley!
5 years old
Neutered Male

Dudley is a fun, goofy sweetheart who brings the perfect mix of playfulness and couch-potato charm. He adores his people and will happily smother you with kisses before settling in for snuggles. His absolute favorite pastime is chasing his beloved squeaky tennis ball around.

Dudley is fully house trained and has never needed a crate—he’s perfectly content snoozing on the couch while you’re away. He’s also a talented guy who knows sit, stay, shake, and more!

Dudley hasn’t spent much time around young children, and he tends to think he’s 10 pounds instead of 60, which may be a little much for little ones. But he’d thrive in a home with older kids or teenagers.

Duds has recently been an only pup, but he’s lived with other dogs and loves having a canine sibling! His ideal match is a confident, happy-go-lucky dog who enjoys wrestling and playtime. Dudley can get nervous in new or overwhelming situations, so having a confident buddy helps him feel secure. Dudley does best with playful, easy-going dogs and would not do as well with nervous dogs. He’s also not a big fan of cats.

He also attends doggy daycare a couple times each week and does great, so travel or boarding is no problem!

Dudley would thrive in a calmer neighborhood, quiet suburb, or rural area. Cities and apartment settings are not his scene. Too many strangers and strange dogs can make him anxious and overstimulated, particularly when he is outside on a leash. A fenced-in yard would also be a huge bonus. He’ll do best with an adopter who can help him build confidence and provide patient, positive reinforcement. Experience with leash reactivity would be helpful.

Dudley is an incredibly sweet, affectionate boy with so much love to give. He’ll fill your home with laughter, cuddles, and joy.

Interested in adopting?
