Dudley's Story

Meet Dudley 🐾

Dudley is a 2-year-old Chihuahua mix who came to the shelter in February 2025 through owner relinquishment along with his brother, Dobby. Since then he has been patiently waiting for someone to see how special he is!

Dudley may be shy at first especially around strangers and men, but once he trusts you, his easy to love personality will really shine.

You might notice Dudley’s unique coat pattern. Those soft brown circular patches on hisĀ Ā blue/silver fur aren’t a medical issue at all, just a natural genetic variation that makes himĀ Ā even more special! His ā€œweird hairā€ adds to his charm.

Dudley would do best in a home with a fenced yard, as he’s not great on a leash yet and feels safer in a familiar, enclosed space. He’d thrive as an only dog, where he can soak up all the love and attention. While he’ll need some continued work on potty training, he’s incredibly eager to please and wants so badly to do the right thing. With patience and consistency, he’s going to do great.

Dudley isn’t looking for a loud, busy world. Instead he’s looking for a calm home, a gentle heart, and someone willing to go at his pace.

Dudley just might be the little companion you’ve been waiting for! šŸ¤

If you are interested in meeting Dudley, please submit an application on our website at https://www.rainingcatsanddogsshelter.com/adoption. Our adoption coordinator will reach out to you by email once the application is processed. If you have questions in the meantime, please email the adoption coordinator at rainingcatsanddogsvolunteer@gmail.com

Our team is 100% volunteer based and many of our volunteers have full time jobs, so we appreciate your patience with us as we process your application. Thanks for looking and we hope to be able to match you with your next fur baby!
