Ducky's Story
If you've been feeling a lack of love in your life, Ducky would be thrilled to fill that void. A sweet affectionate girl who loves to give kisses and cuddles, Ducky is always ready to remind you how much she loves you. If you're looking for a dog who will always want to be by your side, Ducky is the perfect girl for your home. She's happy to spend time with you however you like whether it's going for long walks, playing with you in the backyard, or just cuddling up for a night on the couch. Ducky would be happiest in an adult-only household and as the only animal.

Weight: 50.8 lbs

Spayed/Neutered: Yes!

Up to date on vaccines: Yes!

Microchipped: Yes!

Housebroken: Yes! They do not get along with other dogs and need to be the only dog in the home.

Cat sociability: They do not do well with cats! They will chase, bite, attack, or otherwise harm or frighten cats.

Kid sociability: Good with older kids! They are a little too much for small kids or have a history of behaviors that are difficult to manage around smaller children, but they are fine with kids ages 13-18.

Likes: Playing tug and fetch, relaxing with a chew toy, snuggling with her people

Dislikes: Not getting enough cuddles

Ducky is reactive to other animals on walks and will need ongoing positive reinforcement training in order to continue safely managing this behavior.

If you'd like to meet Ducky, please fill out an adoption application at animalcareleague.org/adoptions and send us an email at adoption@animalcareleague.org to schedule an introduction!
