Duckie's Story

Hi. My name is Duckie. I'm a cute young dalmatian cattledog mix girl about 3 yrs old who ended up in the East Valley LA City shelter in Van Nuys. Not a fun place! Luckily Dalmatian Rescue saw me and got me out of there before something bad happened. I am a happy girl now, living with a group of dogs so I can play pretty much non-stop. Perfect for a busy busy girl like me. I am being walked daily so I am learning my leash manners. I am shy with strangers but I warm up quickly once I know you are friendly. I am a nice smallish size, only 36 lbs. I am spayed, vaccinated and microchipped so I am ready to go home anytime. Because I am so shy, i would be best in a home without young children but another dog or two would be great. A dog knowledgeable owner, preferably one familiar with high energy dogs like myself, would be preferred. I am still learning all of the rules but I know, in the right home with the right owner I would become just the most perfect pup ever. I would sure like that chance!

If you are interested in meeting me, please contact Dalmatian Rescue of Southern California, Inc. by email at dalrescue@sbcglobal.net. Rescue requires completion of an adoption questionnaire to make sure I would be a good fit for you and your family, but once completed and approved, arrangements can be quickly made for you and your family to come meet me. I have not found my new home yet but I know it will be soon.

To learn more about Dalmatian Rescue of Southern California, Inc., a 501c3 non-profit charity, and to see all of our available dogs, please visit our website at www.dalrescuesocal.com.
