The Basics • Age: ~2 months (6.8lbs) • Breed: Lab mix (Wisdom Panel DNA results pending) • Diet: Dry kibble enthusiast • Crate Skills: Sleeps in a kennel without accidents… but will absolutely file a formal complaint (loudly) if she realizes she’s alone Her Personality (in a nutshell): Duchess is the definition of a velcro puppy. Wherever you go, she goes. If you sit—she’s in your lap. If you stand—she’s at your feet. If you try to walk away—she will simply beat you to your destination and be waiting for you there. Social Life: • Loves dogs of all sizes • Adores kids of all ages • Believes everyone is her best friend (and personal cuddle station) Daily Activities Include: • Toy time, all the time • Following you from room to room like your most devoted assistant • Outdoor play, followed by immediate potty success the second her paws hit grass • Refusing to eat unless you’re nearby (moral support is required, obviously) Special Duchess Rules: • Bathroom breaks are a team activity — she prefers you stay outside with her • Solo yard time? Absolutely not. She will race you back to the door every time • Naps must happen ON a human, not near one Perfect Home Match: Duchess would thrive in a home where she gets lots of attention, companionship, and snuggles. She’s not looking to be independent—she’s looking to be yours. Completely, adorably, and unapologetically yours. ADOPTING A DOG Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older). If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match. We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend.
