Duchess's Story

All our sweet Duchess wants for the holidays is a new home to call her own! She will be spayed on December 1st and then will be ready to go to her forever home. Duchess is currently being fostered in MD. She has quickly shown she is such a happy, easygoing dog. It is very obvious she was very loved and taken care of until her owner suddenly passed and NNR was contacted to help find her forever home. We are told she is around 9 years old but suspect she is probably younger. She has quite the pep in her step and is happy to follow you upstairs, downstairs, or outside wherever you want to go she is sure to follow with a happy wag of her tail. She is great on a leash and enjoys being brushed, but her favorite activity is by far snuggling on the couch with you while to you pet her. Duchess hasn't shown herself to be much of a playmate with her canine foster sibling yet, but she is more than happy to curl up next to them for a nap. Duchess, she hasn't met a stranger yet and craves the human touch. Could this sweet girl be the one to make your family complete. if so, please get your application in or if you already have a completed application let us know you are interested in sweet Duchess.

You only need to apply once to be considered for any dog that is a match for your home!

** Want to send this dog a gift?
