Meet Dually (pronounced Doo-Lee!), a 6-year-old male pitty mix with a big heart and even bigger cuddle energy. Dually is truly a cuddle bug who will happily try to sit in your lap and soak up all the affection you’re willing to give. He absolutely loves stuffies and enjoys carrying them around and thrashing them while flailing his body around like a maniac. Dually has some skin sensitivities that may be allergy-related and we can discuss with adopters ways to help support him.<br/><br/>When he sees other dogs, Dually can have some big feelings and may huff, bark, or lunge, but he typically calms down within seconds. He came from a multi-dog household and doesn’t seem to have the best dog social skills yet, and we expect this behavior to improve after some decompression in a home environment. We’re happy to support adopters with training referrals if needed. While we don’t have much information about how he does with kids or cats, he has met many different types of people and may do well with thoughtful, slow introductions. Dually is looking for a patient, loving home where he can feel safe, snuggled, and supported as he settles into his next chapter.
