She arrived at the shelter with a broken heavy iron chain still around her neck, a sign that she had spent her life tied up before finally breaking free to find help.<br/><br/>When she first arrived, she was limping on her hind leg. X-rays showed a hairline fracture, likely from her time on the streets. However, we have wonderful news: she has made a full recovery! Her bone has healed perfectly, and she is now pain-free, active, and ready to go on long walks with her new family.<br/><br/><br/>*Personality & Behavior*<br/><br/>Despite her rough start, Dream is the definition of calm and gentle.<br/><br/>Mellow & Sweet: She is a very quiet, well-mannered girl. She isn't the type to cause a ruckus; she'd much rather be your peaceful companion.<br/><br/>On Walks: Dream can easily get startled; she tends to run toward corners or hide under cars when hearing traffic or heavy footsteps. She will need an understanding family that can patiently guide her through these moments. <br/><br/>Friendly to All: She is excellent with other dogs and truly loves people. ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES: • US residents only • 24 years of age (drivers license or passport required as a form of ID) • All children are age 6 or older • No restrictions on pets by landlord (must receive written consent) • Provide photos of your home, including bedroom • Financially willing and able to properly care for dog for remainder of its life • Must create separate IG account for adopted dog - to provide updates ADOPTION PROCESS (1-2 weeks): • Fill out the adoption application below with a specific dog(s) you wish to adopt from @KpupsForLove • Adoption screening interview via phone call with our team ONLY IF your application reflects our criteria • Reference checks • After screening steps, you will be notified ONLY IF your adoption application is approved • Our volunteers will work with you to finalize the adoption - sharing your new dog’s medical records, scheduling a date of your dog’s arrival, and sending detailed pick-up instructions.
