She wants so badly to trust, but right now she needs time, consistency, and understanding to get there.<br/><br/>Drea will need at least a month to settle into a new home—and even after that, she’ll continue to need an adopter who truly understands that progress for her comes in small, meaningful steps. She’s not a “warm up on day one” kind of dog, but she is a dog who will quietly bloom when given the chance.<br/><br/>Because of her anxiety, a securely fenced yard is a must. This isn’t optional—it’s for her safety and peace of mind. Likewise, Drea absolutely needs at least one other confident, friendly dog in the home. Loving Drea means celebrating tiny wins: a tail wag, a relaxed nap, choosing to stay close.<br/><br/>She is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and current with all vaccines (as appropriate for her age) and on flea and heartworm prevention.
